Before the earthquake, the cost to attend a school in Haiti’s Central Plateau was around 35 Haitian dollars a year. Less than a third of the students that attended could pay the full amount.

Now with more children returning to the Central Plateau from Port au Prince, the number of children enrolled in the schools have increased. With that increased enrollment comes an increased demand for school supplies, uniforms and tuition assistance.

With you help we can help send more children to school, employ local craftsmen to make benches, blackboard and other needed school materials. We can engage local tailors to make school uniforms and help create job in the villages we serve.
